Ariva Fine Jewelry welcomes Hacker’s Jewelers, a family owned store started by Ken and Alice Hacker. The store opened in Nevada, Missouri in the fall of 1986, and this fall they will celebrate 30 years in business.
Not only are they a family owned business, but their staff is made up of family members, too. One of their daughters, who grew up in the store, now creates custom designs. Additionally, the first employee hired 30 years ago is Ken’s cousin; as a school teacher, he worked part time in the store, and when he retired, he joined the staff full time.
Hacker’s carries a wide variety of merchandise, from sterling silver to 14K gold. They provide the community and surrounding area with jewelry of all styles, gift items, Yankee candles, watches, in-store repairs, custom designs and estate pieces.
Hacker’s now carries a selection of pieces from Ariva’s Silk Collection. When asked what attracted them to the line, they explained, “We love the styles offered in the Ariva line. Each piece in the line is very high quality. The gemstones used have very vibrant color.”
