Sunday night, Jewelers for Children hosted the 17th annual Facets of Hope dinner at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Nearly 2,000 attendees congregated to honor Philippe Mellier of the De Beers Group and Scott Burger of PANDORA for their service to the organization, and to raise funds for the charitable works in the year ahead.
Along with videos featuring beneficiaries of JFC’s support, the crowd was also honored to hear from one of our tiny, charming superheroes, and an inspiring speech from a very brave woman-- both have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to thrive in the face of adversity, and JFC is proud to have contributed to the organizations that have enabled their triumphs.
The Ariva team, with members from our parent company Pranda Group, shared two tables with friends from across the jewelry industry. Ariva’s Executive Creative Director, Debra Puzio, is on the executive board of Jewelers for Children, and is passionate about JFC’s cause. Debra was honored at the Facets of Hope dinner in 2011.
To date, JFC has raised and donated more than $45 million to its charity partners, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and National CASA Association.
